Tell us about your sports & fitness background.
Grew up playing baseball, football, swim team, skateboarding, mountain biking and the one that has held the test of time…Snowboarding!!
How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? Take us back to your first WOD… what was it, and how did it feel?
I had just lost over 100 lbs, was pumped and wanted to push myself harder and harder. Found CrossFit. I could not tell you my first WOD, but I can say that I wanted to live and breathe it from day one.
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting CF? (before / after)
I went from 165 lbs, skinny to 240 (want to lose some) That is mostly muscle. My strength is night and day.
What sort of changes in your life have you experienced out of taking on something like CrossFit that were totally unexpected?
Patience, it is my calm everyday. IT brings me back to center. With CrossFit, I truly focus on myself first, to make myself better for all around me, second.

Anything with the 530 AM class, it is endless laughs every morning!!
Any advice for people just getting started?
Do not be intimidated, introduce yourself to everyone, throw yourself in and the Box will be right there to help.
Tell us something interesting about yourself totally unrelated to CrossFit.
I want to to create sculptures from wood and design my own furniture.
