One of the first workouts I ever did:
Run 800 meters with 10/20 lb plates
Run 400 meters with 20/30 lb Slam ball
Run 200 meters with a 1/1.5 pood KB
Least Favorite WOD?
Workouts with Wall Balls and weighted Walking Lunges.
Tell us about your sports & fitness background.
I did cross country and track in high school. After high school, I continued to run and use the machines at the gym (I.e. Elliptical and treadmill). I also got into yoga and yoga sculpt (weights and yoga).
How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? Take us back to your first WOD… what was it, and how did it feel?
My boyfriend insisted I try CrossFit, which I eventually did with a lot of hesitation. I wish I tried it earlier. I was hooked after the first workout. I loved the intensity and the challenge in the workout!
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting CF? (before / after)
The biggest accomplishment is being able to climb to the top of the rope! But overall my body is so much stronger and toned.
What sort of changes in your life have you experienced out of taking on something like CrossFit that were totally unexpected?
I absolutely love AND look forward to my morning workouts!

The classes are all awesome. We always have fun and everyone is very supportive!
Any advice for people just getting started?
Just try it! Everyone remembers the first time they joined and thought “I could never do _____” but you’ll surprise yourself with what you’ll be able to do in a short period of time!
What are your hobbies, interests and/or talents outside of CrossFit?
Outside of CrossFit, I enjoy hanging out with friends, watching TV, and learning more for my job as a mental health counselor.
