When did you first start CrossFitting?

I don’t know that I have a favorite. It depends on the day and my mood. 🙂
Least Favorite WOD?
Wall balls….I am improving but they are not my favorite to do.
Tell us about your sports & fitness background.
I started getting serious about my health and fitness about the time of my mid-twenties. Before that I was eating a lot of fast food and sweets. I also did not exercise that much. I was skinny but not healthy.
How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? Take us back to your first WOD… what was it, and how did it feel?
I can’t remember how I found out about Crossfit. I just remember looking up local boxes and finding Crossfit Caliber. My first workout involved lifting weights. I remember liking it and getting positive feedback from the other members in class.
What sort of changes have you seen in your body,
health and fitness since starting CF? (before / after)
I feel very strong! I am completing movements I never thought I could do.
What sort of changes in your life have you experienced out of taking on something like CrossFit that were totally unexpected?
I handle stress much better when I am working out on a regular basis. The intensity of Crossfit helps with stress a great deal!
Any advice for people just getting started?
Don’t quit! Some days you will feel defeated but the next WOD you just may feel like a warrior!
What are your hobbies, interests and/or talents
outside of CrossFit?
I enjoy traveling, reading, playing guitar, watching baseball, spending time with family, etc…:)
